The Junction

Sayville, NY

In Sayville, The Junction was designed as a purpose-built workshop inspired by the character of historic passenger rail stations and created for an owner devoted to building large-scale locomotives. Shingle siding, a red standing-seam roof, deep overhangs, decorative brackets, and station-style detailing give the compact structure the personality of a classic railroad depot. A dedicated track opening connects the backyard rail line directly into the workshop, making the building itself part of the hobby and bringing craftsmanship, engineering, and a lifelong passion for trains together under one roof.
